Ill embed it for you lazy people out there, but please watch it in HD on vimeo. Just quickly put this together last night. Looking for a critique to improve in the future. Thanks!

Everything looks great man! Really stoked for you!Couple things:
1.The jump cut at the beginning with the dog was a bit amateur, just either old that shot longer or switch it up. 2. I feel like you had to many shots of the drop in at GFFT3.The water pain with geese was wayy to saturated 4. Seems like this was a quick throw together of just a couple months. As painful as it is wait maybe a year or so and compile all those shots(depending on how much you shoot)
Those are just a few things, I know I've been so stoked to start mine, I've got the perfect song and everything. Yet im waiting it out til the end of summer so it really showcasing my work. Which I think by doing this could really benefit you cause you have some sick stuff already!!

Keep it up!-Matt

Right after I uploaded it I noticed the dog cut and the water shot and how bad they looked haha. I'm going to take those out and maybe put in a time lapse I shot in whistler. And I plan on making a longer and more official reel when I get more footage, hence the "mini". Thanks for the input everyone! Keep it coming.

Yea for sure, Looks good though for a start.Get out and shoot something you normally would shoot would be my best advice. Opens doors in other areas of film making for you.

BUMP. Changed the dog cut, took out the duck shot, added a few more, and stabilized the shot were they were going into the park. The embed automatically changed to the new one.

Seemed to bounce back and forth a little. There wasn't really a specific flow or storyline to the video, so it seems like just a bunch of shots thrown on a timeline to music. I would suggest maybe grouping the seasonal shots together; sequence the bmx shots in line and then move to skiing, other subjects, etc.
As already stated, it may be painful, but waiting to shoot a bit more content will yield a much stronger reel down the road, so continue shooting and keep adding to it. Other than that, the actual shots look pretty good. Keep it up!
