Critique my Latest edits Please

really just started making edits this year and typically it would just be a bunch of buddies handing off the camera but this time i filmed it all myself and i was stoked on the outcome, rip this apart please! this was my 5th edit ever.

this one was just a mash up of all my homies best clips that i put together, wish some of the shots were taken differently so mainly looking for critique on the editing. this was #4

About half of the shots you were way too far away, make you're leading the rider enough when they hit a butter box or something so that you dont have to "catch up" per say.

Also, if you're gonna use sound from a different clip, make sure its adjusted to the right speed. The shot of him on the rainbow rail had good audio but the clip was half speed or so and the audio seemed to be full speed.
 
Sick edit but definitely get closer. Also the color and exposure was al over the place. Some color correction would have helped a ton. One shot was really dark, flat and warm and then it jumped to the next shot and it was really bright, blue toned with tons of contrast. Overall I thought it was good for a 5th edit

Thanks eheath! audio on that one shot does sound weird to me know that I re listen but I'm not to sure why, that was the original audio, maybe I didn't preserve the pitch after changing the speed or something.

i know which shots you were talking about and believe it or not that was actually the same lap. Some crazy clouds and fog would just roll in super quick randomly through out the day. I actually put all of the clips togather in order they were takin in, guess I'll try keep the similar looking shots together next time. But I will also work on some color correction. Thanks!

Thats some weird weather. Shooting in clouds really does suck and color correction is one of the only ways to "fix" it. Its best just to shoot when its sunny though
