Critique My Flickr... Please

cool.

i made a critique thread a while ago but i've taken a good amount of photos since then so some critique on my more recent photos would be great. just got a D7000 which im super stoked on and the first shot on my Flickr with the d7k is "Tuning 1" on the 2nd page and all of the photos that are more recent have been takin with my d7k and 18-105mm lens. you can look at all of them or just one. anything is helpful. im pretty busy with school and skiing so i don't get too much time for photos but i work with what i have. i try and shoot as much variety as i can but im kinda limited with where i am but like i said, i try haha.

thanks!

maybe just because i spend so much time waxing, haha

Yo buddy you obviously have got an eye for this stuff some of your photos look pretty wicked! My only beef is just with your action shots though in my opinion the rule of thirds will help you a shit load and i can tell you understand the rule just apply to your ski shots. Some of them just look really centered and that just takes so much away from action shots. But other than that your photos are sharp not over processed and nice to look at. Keep doing what your doing man your for sure on the right track.

thanks for the critique man! i'll try and work on that for sure. new shots should be up sometime tonight.

bump. up. mah. post.

a lot of new shots up! there are definitely some that suck because i slacked for a few days in a row on my 365 project but i got a few good ones recently. a lotta black and white but with all the snow we've been getting everything always seems to be black and white haha. hope to get some skiing shots sometime soon when i'm not busy.

mad props for all of those pictures!

i especially liked the ones with the longer exposures (waxing, the snow, fireworks, light show etc).

definitely keep shooting!
