Critique my Fall Ski Edit?

Hey NS,

Have not made an edit in so long and was looking for feedback, but also have a question. I like to be filmed also and it seems the most relaxing thing for the group is to just put it on a tripod and press record. How can I make these shots more creative I tried to be my best in this video also don't forget about the editing.

 
cross fades generally show a passage of time. most of the ones you used were pretty quick but still not needed if its not same shot and feature during that short of a time. really liked the song and for just pressing play on the tripod it was good, the angel wasn't necessarily creative but it as nice that you could see the whole set up.
 
even though it was all tripod shots, it still managed to hold my attention the entire time. there was good variety between the different positions of the tripod so that I didn't say to myself "okay I've seen this shot like 10 times now, move on."

good tricks and good use of the zoom in/out (I don't know the technical term if there is one)so that not every shot was completely static.
