ThanKs man! I definitely look forward to getting used to the new cam and using the steadicam on snow some more.

or you could drop the aperture or ISO. What setting were you filming at because last time I filmed skiing (sadly it was last year, haven't gone up yet) My settings were shutter: 125, ISO: 100, Aperture: Between 11 and 16 and it worked fine

F/22 shutter 125 iso 125(?), however low it could go.

thats your problem, if you use cinestyle it will help other words the camera will try to adjust with it and it will get really messed up and look super overexposed

Night shots I think you could've zoomed out a bit for the same effect, and with less jerky camera movements.

Word, thanks man. Definitely going to try to keep them more stable next time and get a spacer so my lens isnt resting on my steadicam plate.
 
I liked it but I think you could have cut out a lot of the early offs on rails and some of the stuff where the person didn't land anything but they also didn't crash in an entertaining way. That would also make it a little bit shorter which was my other suggestion though it was not terribly long and overall very enjoyable to watch.

oh and also in the actual comp part I think you could have moved around. Keeping it in one spot got really boring you have to get different angles
 
Change the second song to some Waka crazy shit and do a lot of pulsing flashes and slowmo. work the skiers to the beat. always works
 
Never had a problem before with too much light and no ND filter. Usually I shoot ISO100, f13, 1/200 shutter. You sure you didn't have something jacked up too high/low that made it overexpose?

100% positive. Not sure if there was a setting in the menus that I was missing seeing as it was my first time using the a7s but it was at F/22 Iso 100 and 125 shutter
