This is my first edit and I think it ended up pretty well. I know I used the slow motion a little too much and the fades too, but I think it fit the vibe pretty well. I just got a glidecam for my birthday as well so in the future it will be a lot more stable. It was shot with a t3i, 18-55 and Helios 44-2.

The skiing was good and everything, but I'm just feeling that because of the slow motion and the vibe of the song it just felt like it was really long.
 
As you have already pointed out its not overlly stable. in the future the glidecam will definately help out wiht that, but there is a way to fix the stability of those existing clips. you can use a stabilisation plugin like sony stabilize (in vegas) and it will definately improve what you already have.
 
Didn't love the music, or the constant slo-mo, but it really wasnt bad. It could be a little more upbeat, i think that would make it more interesting. Also, get something to stabilize your camera (ex. Glidecam). It really improves your edits and makes them look more professional and just plain better.
 
not to be a dick but if an edit doesnt have amazing skiing or editing i cant pay attention longer than 2.5 minutes, probably less
 
Thank you everyone for the feedback! Next time I will use less slo mo ,use a more upbeat song, stabilize it a lot better and make it shorter
