Critique my documentary?

I know this is a little different than most critique threads in the forum but I'm a 15 year old sophmore from Rhode Island and I made this documentary on the Dalai Lama for National History day. The interview sections were shot with a Canon 5d and all b roll/news-clips are from archive.org, also it was cut in Final Cut Pro.

Enjoy! please comment and remember to watch in hd!

(hopefully embed works and if it doesnt heres the link)

I really liked it. Very well done and the way the story came together was very professional.

I am huge fan of Tenzin and have actually seen him speak on multiple occasions so I may be biased into believing that all things dalai lama related are beautiful.

If I had to give you a critique the only thing I would say is to have more speakers, It becomes slightly redundant and unprofessional to have a documentary with only one point of view.

Yeah its my dads, he actually makes documentries, commercials, etc for a living mostly for non-profit organaztions.

Jaymon thanks for the feedback he really is an extradorindary person and your probably right with getting multiple speakers but the documentry must be under 10 minutes and I honestly ran out of time to find more people to interview.

Ended up losing to a slideshow, great..... Eh it was fun making I'm just a little disappointed I put so much work into it for nothing and lost to a "documentry" with no literally no video in it. I did get a 90 as a grade on it though which makes me pretty stoked.

Thanks everyone for the help! I look forward to posting again in M&A
