Critique me, K+ for feedback

I put this together with the limited shots I had of me (I am usually behind the camera not in front of it). I know my style is lacking and not everything is clean, but to be fair I started out the year able to throw 3s, the occasional 7, and couldn't do anything on rails for the life of me. Some feedback on the video would be much appreciated though!

won't let me watch

yeah, I cant figure out why the embed isn't working even though it was embedded through a NS upload. Here is the link to Vimeo though

Couldn't take it seriously because that song was recently used in a big budget ski seggy (Faction edit). That just ruined it for me.

Edit was pretty sick, although cut down on the slow motion, it kinda killed it and the b roll was sick but using a song you recently saw in a big name edit isn't always the best choice as people associate the song with that edit and kind of ruins it for them.

Word thanks for the input and for the embed. I can honestly say that before I made this I was unaware this song was in another edit, so it's my bad on that one haha.

First off all, it was a really nice edit shots were clean i also like the style of song, it fits in well with the atmosphere of the shots. The first thing i learned for better edits, was to cut your shots to the beat. Now, I know this isn't always possible but if you can it really makes a difference.

Hope I helped :)

I agree with this, however that being said you should not always do this... it can get kind of annoying.

I have a few edits where I use the beats to cut once and a while, but also sometimes the mood of the song changes and that can call for a cut as well.
