Critique 'From Behind the Lens'

Super sick edit. Most of it was really clean too. I would scrap the first intro because it seemed a little long though. other than that: would recommend.

Really nice, I liked the unique style in both the editing and filming. Only critique I spotted were a few over exposed shots for that park part (actually half of the park shots were perfect and some other were way too white, maybe filmed with two different cameras?). The rest is pretty much all awesome, I really liked the style of editing for the street segment, would recommend!

in the park clips the lens seemed a little foggy (coulda been from blowing snow/ lighting) but besides that the video was awesome. great editing and shooting, i like the transitions in the middle to end

Audio was a bit rough during the park part, assuming you dont have a deadcat/shotgun mic? Solid investment for sure.

Otherwise it was solid, the urban section was a bit slow IMO

So sick pat. The only thing I noticed other than some blown highlights in the park part was like a white dot in the middle of the frame, looked like a snowflake. It was a little distracting

yeah that white dot was actually a fuck up with the lens and it was frosting over or something. I dropped it on accident and some water must have gotten inside and frosted up like a windsheild. I didn't really have a choice to scrap all those shots either so I just had to deal with it.

Evan, I do have a rode mic but a deadcat is something I need to pick up in the near future. i appreciate the props tho.

And yeah some shots came out over exposed before I dialed the composition (that was right in the morning when i started to film) and i ended up throwing them in anyway. I was honestly more concerned with getting the urban part dialed.

Thanks for the feedback! Stoked on the positive reaction. This is the first decently large project ive worked on and im super glad how it came out. Excited to do more of this in the future.

sorry for double post: but all of this was filmed with the 18-55mm kit lens and rokinon 8mm on a t2i if anyone was wondering
