Critique Edit Please

I thought it was really good the only things I'd say are that some parts like :51 and 1:11 were kinda hard to see for me. I don't film so I don't know how to fix this haha. Maybe a flash? I'm not sure but that was all I really saw in the edit. If possible, (not that it really matters) reducing the background noise in the begining would make it a lot better. Overall, great job.
 
yeah some of the lighting was kinda bad (obviously cause of the whole no sun thing). intro part was a little long, especially since it was a short edit to begin with. filming was good though, as well as the skiing.
 
Good edit. Like the shots you got! I'd cut the intro, I wanna see him ski not listen to his problems (no offense). When you're color grading, don't add too much contrast. While it boosts the whites it also crushes your blacks. That's why it looks so muddy in the shadows. Look at your scopes when color correcting; they'll help you out a lot. I'd also add dissolves or crossfades (same thing different name in different editors) in the camera audio tracks. It'll make the audio of him skiing sound like one track so you don't get the hard cuts. Good edit overall!
