Critical Park Skiing Advice?

I've always wanted to get into park and have always had massive respect for it. However, my local hill has been a bit behind in the skiing world and has only had a park for a couple years and it's been mediocre. So I've spent several years now just hiking for lines in the backcountry but I'm going to start park this season. What are the things you have to know?

Be yourself through your skiing. Let it show your personality, who you are. I believe the most exciting and fun skiers to watch are skiers who do this.

Watch some edits for inspiration or just do your own thing. IF you don't have any friends that ski park sesh with people and talk to them. Shredding with friends is the best and will help you progress.

As you get better at park if you're still riding there and interested, get involved in the park. Some places just don't have anyone willing to set up features right and don't have the know how themselves. To get things going a little bit doesn't really take much effort. Maybe even get a volunteer effort going if there's no park crew. Get some tools chillin in the park and just fix shit when it needs it. IF a take off is fucked fix it up and shred it.

Idk. Pretty much everywhere has some decent potential, places just need some love.

Regardless just keep skiing, have fun, and remember that wu tang clan aint nuthin ta fuck with.

Main thing to keep in mind: skiing is meant to be fun, so keep it that way. When you start going in the park, try to get to know some people who are better and tail along with them to learn some stuff. Stick around NS to learn the ways, and what region are you in? I know the regional forums are kinda dead, but try it out anyway. For all the thuggery of most park rats, they are usually pretty nice.

Basically have fun, try new stuff and explore the park. It can be really scary and intimidating going into the park and being new and not knowing anything, but you pick it up fast and it will become awesome!

first time you hit a rail/box, put 70% of your weight on your front foot, or you're not gonna have a good time

When you hit a jump, pop hard up/forward, or at least dont hit it backseat, although you probably know that already if you do a lot of natural features.

Also style is way more important than you think
