Criminal minds

bump, definitely the most disturbing show on primetime network television.
I started watching a couple months ago, and coincidentally saw this episode today.
Anyway, I'm not going to claim this is a great show, but there are some really cool parts. Obviously the profiling thing is interesting since it combines all sorts of different sciences, some of which the viewer can actually learn from (to a very small degree, I know).
I think the best thing about it is that you can't always count on there being a happy ending. In the end they alway catch the guy, but it doesn't always leave you feeling fulfilled (For example, in one episode they finally find this serial killer/cannibal. After he's detained they realize he's been feeding the women he killed to members of the local church...)
End utterly pointless bump.

jesus, at the end of the episode I just watched they lead the viewer to think that the family of this killer was alive in a car with him. Only to show that he had already killed his wife, and two daughters with a sawed off. shit is fucked.

are you guys serious? this show is so formulaic and off the mark i cant even handle it. first of all, FBI profilers dont have insane action packed jobs. they read a shitload of files on an "unsub" and come up with some pseudoscience bullshit that is mostly common sense and educated guesses.

and then theres some fat bitch who sits in some room somewhere and can tell you exactly what you need with the push of a button with her chubby fingers on her computer.

and the lead guy, Hotch, is a gaping axe wound. he suck as Greg from Darma & Greg, and he sucks at this suck fest-show. and the little nerdy kid, Zach i believe, is an even bigger gash. who has hair like that, and isnt an eight-year-old kid?

ok, im done.

i will give the show this though. in the season finale or whatever last week, Hotch's wife got murked by a serial killer. i didnt think it would actually happen, so....props.

I know its formulaic and unrealistic its prime time network television. It doesn't air Sunday nights on HBO, and its not a film. All I said was that its pretty good for what it is.
