Crested Butte/ Western State

I am looking at western state college next year and I was wondering about it. I didn't see anything in the search bar. How is it? Is it chill and have a bunch of shredders? and how is crested buttes park? I want to go for pure steep shit but, I like to keep up on my park game. So just wondering???
 
Is it chill? What the fuck does that actually mean? You're deciding on college, not going to a hookah bar.

CB has decent park, but ya your gonna love anything steep there. It's nuts.
 
No one knows about the park this year because they are moving it from cannon to the Gold link lift which I think will be sick for the park. The park has been pretty good the last 2 seasons. But no-one comes to CB to ski park, the steeps and trees are just way too good, and our BC access is incredible.

I went to Western and loved it, I skied and partied way too much, got a degree, and a really good job so I could stay in CB. I guess it all depends on what you are trying to get out of your education. No Western is not the most prestigious college in colorado, but they do have some really good programs.

Oh and stop by Colorado Freeskier at the base of Mt. CB when you are here.
 
agreed on the steeps and BC. first run i took some second surface lift up real high above where the first lift dropped me. scared myself shit-stained but it was so much fun all the way down.
 
cb is by far my favorite mountain and i think the park will be good this year its been in a shitty place in paradise
