Ok, so this is going to sound weird. Cause it is.

In terms of summer training camps, is there an age cap on it? I can't find anything that says there is, but camps are obviously for up-and-comers. BUT are there any people who are in their 20's or above that go as "campers" (god I feel creepy). I bring this up because it's such a great forum to work on advanced tricks with honest critiques and real help that you otherwise can't get. Yet, it would be really weird to show up stoked to ski and learn only to be asked "do you work here?" the whole time.

I've heard nothing but great things about Momentum's adult camps -- http://momentumskicamps.com/m/programs/adult/

Windells' also offers adult sessions -- http://windells.com/freeski-camp/freestyle-ski-adult-camp/

CoC has this info on their page --

DO YOU HAVE ANY ADULT ONLY CAMPS?

No, we have adults and kids together in all the sessions, male and female. Whistler has so many different distractions depending on your age, that every session is an adult camp or a kid camp. It just depends on what you like to do. Also as an adult you realize that the coaches don't bite so you hang out with them more than the kids. Also we have quite a few adults at each session so you mostly hang with your own age group. The other good thing about having kids and adults in the same session is it keeps adults from acting their age.

If you are thinking, "Am I too old for camp?" forget it it. Just by looking at this website and thinking about coming is all the proof you need that you are not too old. It's all about attitude not age. Come to camp, change your life.

That's great to hear. The main thing I was looking for is if I'd be the only one. Obviously I don't think the camps would refuse my money and tell me I can't come, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be the equivalent of the skinny dude with the comb-over standing in the corner of the ball pit with a big smile on his face.

Windells has a sick adult camp option. They average a dozen adult campers (typically between 18-30 years old) each session. They have a completely separate list of activities and events for adults if they don't want to participate in the normal camp activities. In general it seems that the adult campers have more fun than the kids. They usually know exactly why they came to camp and what they want to get out of it. Plus its like an all inclusive vacation.

I signed up for 2 weeks at MHSSC this summer. I'm 26 and was the oldest camper by probably 8 years but I didn't feel that weird. The older teenagers were pretty interested in how I got into skiing late and all that shit. Unfortunately I broke my fibula on the first day so didn't get any time on the mountain but I'll be back next summer one year older and don't really give a shit.

Plus the coaches, counselors etc are usually 20+ so there are at least some people your age to chill with.

True story. Portland, or has the most strip clubs per capita in the us. It's a night you don't want to miss.
