Creemee or softserve?

I have grown up calling soft icecream creemees. i know most of vermont (where i was born and raised) calls them creemees except for southern vermont. recently at a camp i went to all these new yorkers, canadians, and such were giving the vermonters shit for calling them creemees. does anyone besides vermont call them creemees. just wondering

I just went a UVM lacrosse camp, and we called this kid from burlington Creemee, because he told us thats what they were called around there.
 
Haha my summer house is in VT and I am from CT. I hate that they call it Creemee up here. You want creemee? I give it to you all over your face. Actually if you think about it, both creemee and soft serve sound mad homo.

Soft serve ftw though, I will never call it creemee.
 
why is everyone viciously against creemees?

Go to any other state and go to a Dairy Queen, Vermonters would know what they are because they DON"T HAVE DQ UP HERE, and ask for a creemee and they will have no idea what you are talking about. Haha just joking about not knowing what DQ is. But creemee just sounds so stupid. This is one subject that I am very agitated about haha.
 
whoa there, buddy. i don't use either term, but i have nothing against "creemee" or "jimmies". in fact, they're more creative IMO.
 
hahahaha all of NS should go on that page and start getting pissed off at them and telling them to call it soft serve
