getting a tat, dont need to hear anything about getting em or anyother bullspit, just looking for a little input on the design from yall, as many of you guys kill it at photoshop/graphic design.

the idea behind it is a simple outline want it to be approx 1.5"height X 4-4.5" length looking for a skateboard outline, i originally wanted to get a reg skateboard but saw this http://lessonpix.com/pictures/6168/Skateboard which is obvs an older style, and liked it a little bit better.

looking to have this idea cleaned up a bit, and feel free to make a version both regulr newer style double kick tail, and og style like posted.

what i want to be passed thru from the link posted is the depth given in the board like the thickness, and i like that angle, i dont want to just get it horizontal, i like the nose up front look. this is going to have my friends initials in it, as a rememberence piece as he is now deceased.

are you retarded? no im asking for those who can use photoshop as i can not, to clean up the lines, and or make changes to what they think would look good, on the picture i posted.

Also I think it's a great idea to do this for your friend man, sorry to hear it, but happy to remember him.
 
1.) You don't need to be an asshole, you never clearly asked someone to use photoshop on it. You just asked if people were good at it, then later said you were looking for it to be cleaned up, instead of 'Could someone use photoshop on this and clean it up.'

2.) I find that word retarded offensive. so maybe don't be such a dick and watch this.

Also I have a lot of tats, I personally would go to an artist that you have looked into and give them the idea. Mabye have a lil more than a skate outline and initials you know? Tattoo artists have been doing awesome shit for a lot of years it's a grand idea to use their input!
 
thanks bro, first person to take this seriously. skating was the thing i met him thru, and basically was our lives till college, skating everyday, and i feel this is a good simple way to remember a great friend. as well as he had done my first/only tat prior to his passing.

i thought anyone with a little bit of logic or common sense would be able to see what i was asking, clearly you haveneither.

and i dont want any "art" if you will im not a fan of colored in tats, i have script on my back, and like the simpler look or an outline. and the friend it is to remember was a simple kinda guy when it came to his own tats, he was also a tattoo artist, and always kept his own work simple and to the point. i just think its the best way to remember him.

but thanks for the input, if you cant help me out sall gucci, but get outta the thread if you cant contribute.
 
you don't really need someone to clean up the lines-- that's what the tattoo artist does. Print that out and bring it in, or google "skateboard tattoo" and find some others that you like, take them in and then describe to the artist what you want. They will sketch one for you. You can ask them to sketch several and pick from them.

Just because you go to an artist doesn't mean it's going to be artsy they have been doing people's ideas either complex or simple.
 
Uh, no, but good one. And i think any tattoo that looks remotely like that, or is of a skateboard, will look real dumb.
 
if i met you, you you said that to my face, that my tattoo to remember my deceased childhood friend is dumb. i would literally beat the shit out of you. i would knock you out, then cut open your asshole, from tailbone to belly button, so that when i kick you in hte stomach, you shit will have been kicked out of you.

thanks to those who have helped, was just looking for anyone who wanted to helps design, obviously a tattoo artist can make it more towards what i want, but id rather have multiple inputs before inking it permanatly.

Why not call some tattoo places and ask if any of the available artists are skateboarders. Talk to a few and feed your idea to them. One of them may have something way more sick than what you can think of/are thinking of or may able to clean up what's in your head really well. You can absolutely ask them to draw out a few and have them sharpie it onto you for a few days. You'll probably have to pay a deposit, but at least you will be super certain.
 
I think he was probably being an asshole because your post was incredibly sarcastic. Just a thought.
