This Russian truck driver wrecks his truck, goes through the windshield, lands on his feet, and walks away like a fuckin' boss. Dude is the luckiest man alive. Go buy a lottery ticket.

I lived in Russia

This video doesn't phase me at all, I saw worse while I was living there, I wish I had a camera at all times
 
^ I read because the roads are so sketchy and police can be pretty corrupt, so you keep a dash cam to cover your ass in the long run.
 
yep a recent russian government incentive program offers tax cuts to truck drivers who get in crazy accidents and are caught on dash cam, so russian truckers everywhere have been plowing through traffic, guardrails and wildlife excessively in hopes of saving the %68 income tax imposed on russian workers. these savings are directly going on to benefit the russian economy via the vodka industry, where each trucker is spending their hard earned tax exempted money. win win situation!

gotta love russia.
 
I saw a few things that were pretty crazy, but one that I thought was crazier was this car accident where a person walking ON THE SIDEWALK was almost killed.

Person walking down sidewalk, car driving on sidewalk, another car came across intersection, hit by another car, hit car on sidewalk, car on sidewalk missed pedestrian by like 2 feet, then car proceeded to crash into a flower shop

The first car was a BMW and the driver just straight up left before checking to see if anyone was ok, and his car was pretty badly wrecked. The car that went into the shop somehow managed to back out of it, and that night at like 2 am I saw them fixing the shop and repaving the road, I guess to get rid of the skid marks? There was a crew of like a dozen Russian construction men working.

I wish I had a camera for it haha
 
Having a dash cam In Russia lowers your insurance (some even insurance companies now demand it even.)

You can buy a cheap good chinese car camera for around 70 bucks.

They plug in the cigarette lighter, and when you power on the car the camera starts recording, when you power off it stops. You just put in a big SD card and it starts making loops of 5,10,15 minutes, when the card is full it erases the oldest loop.

They are always recording, that's the point.

When a crash happens you just grab the file from the card.

I have one but so far nothing exiting has happened.

Also do mind that in Russia car crashes happen a lot more frequently.
