so i overheard some tidbits from a certain son of a certain intrawest mucky muck... i dont know who already knows what but... i guess before the olympics whistlers going to be fucking sending it with additions. theyre trying to turn all of their snowmaking capacity into the big guns and not polecats or whatever theyre called.. and then i hear theres to be a lift in flute, 4 new lifts towards function juntion, past creekside... and the biggie... a set of 30 person gondolas between roundhouse and rendezvous... 15 minute ride, faster than whistler gondola, highest, longest contraption of its kind... open perhaps for bungee jumping and such in summer.

thats sounds so uncool and undoable. Haha a gondola between roundhouse and rendez-vous...thats like what 2km going down to fitzimons and back up...addition of lifts towards function junction cant be that bad, but im against flute bowl. Is this true or a joke anyways?
