I'm not sure which of your thread titles were more obnoxiously self-promoting, but either way, you mish-mashing random youtube clips isn't impressive on any level. You are a "production" company? Gimme a break. You're a kid in his bedroom "editing" other people's footage...

actually im a group of about 6 16 year old kids editing other peoples footage into a montage of cool stuff. basically the same thing that the creator of "people are awesome" did. I also film my own stuff and edit it and you can take a look at that if you want on my channel. sorry that my video did not entertain you.

Well I thought it was sick hank.

im not sure why everyone is hating on it so hard?!

jeez

cut the guy some slack.

it was an alright video.

but what being a good production company is, is being able to get awesome footage yourself, and do great editing.

Neither of which that video entailed..

so until you figure those two steps out.. i would stop trying to promote yourself. cuz you're just making yourself look bad and suck.

just some friend words of advice.

okay first of all im not a huge production company thats trying to make money, i just put that on all my videos cause its a friendly group that has fun, and second of all i agree on finding my own footage and you can see that on my channel but my camera broke so i havent been able to film anything and i really wanted to edit something so i thought this would be a fun project to do....

hahaha, you realize that these videos only entertain retards, right? you and your little butt buddies are not legitimate in anyway... and this is really not helping you. you in no way show any knowledge or skill by doing this. just stop.

way to be a complete douche for no reason man. id bet if you were to try something like this.. which you probably never would.. it would turn out a lot worse..

i thought i was a good watch

Here is my thoughts... 1. good video. 2. this is the lazy persons guide to extreme sports on youtube. 3. Keep up the good work, editing skills have to start some where... even if its not your own footy to start off with. 4.???? 5. film tommy walnutz and make skrilla and fuck bitches. (profit)

hahaha, you're right i never would waste my time doing something so fucktarded. "let's get our shitty "production company" recognized off other people's work! all we need to do is download a free version of adobe and make a shitty edit to shitty music and upload it to youtube! did i mention that we won't even give anyone credit for their work!?"

dont hate our work off of one video, we have a bunch of other stuff that we do just for fun! we could care less if we make money or if people like you like our videos, we do all this for FUN and something to do, if you don't like the video, then dont watch it! simple as that bro...

I liked the video, but threw up when I realized the music was dubstep. My ears started bleeding, I got super nauseous, and for a minute thought I would rather die than listen to that. SO I muted it. Please fix the music, there seems to be so much wrong with it that I had a hard time even watching until I muted it.

I actually really enjoyed the song. Nero is so good, most people I know who don't even like dubstep like Nero.

hahaha, work... yeah right, work. it amazes me that it took SIX pairs of un-dropped testicles to make that garbage.

It's funny how people manage to hate over the silliest things. Personally enjoyed the vid there's nothing wrong with using different clips from youtube to make a tribute like this :)

Wow asshole. The op is just a kid who wanted to kill some time and put an compilation together, no need for hate. Yea its not that good, but it entertained me even if i saw alot of those clips before

Im not trying to promote myself at all by doing this, but just to prove to you that i film and edit my own shit before my camera broke, watch this...

i never disbelieved you that you didnt film your own shit..

and i had already watched that before my previous statement...

but i'll say it again, the filming was sub par and so was the editing. before you go promote yourself and promote your work.. get good at what you do.

and if you put your videos up, specially on here, dont act like you're the shit.. ask for advice, what you did wrong, what you could do better. read books, learn. be humble about things. it goes a long ways.

okay i understand what you are saying. first of all how did you put the video on your post lol? ive been trying to do that. And what do you reccomend i do to improve my work? I use final cut pro so i got the good editing program and am still learning all its tricks, unfortunately i cant film right now cause one of my friends spilt a monster on my camera:/ but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

all your shots are on sticks. not moving.

try follow cams. racking focus. having depth of field in your shot. dolly shots. panning shots. stuff in the forefront of the shot. etc etc.

you learn a lot by reading.

okay, i never really use a tri-pod but i do have one and will start using it once i get my camera back. do you have any advice for editing? i always try to match it up the shots with the song so it flows cool, any other tips you have?

and sorry i mis-understood your advice on filming when i first read it, whenever i try follow cams it often gets a little shaky cause im using an HD camcorder thats pretty small, ill just practice keeping that steady throughout the shot.

well i know they are both HD and 1080p is better then 1080i and same goes for 780p and 780i, but i like having the best quality on my stuff so thats why i always do 1080p, but you say not to use 1080?
