Crazy guy in montreal

While in Montreal this weekend I was trying to find Holt Renfrew where the girl I was staying with works. I had no idea where I was so I thought I might ask a stranger and this is what I got:

Me: Hey man do you know where holt renfrew is by any chance?

Guy: Holt Renfrew? You don't want to go there, that place is a shithole.

Me: Ya I'm just going there to meet up with this girl.

Guy: Why are you even in Montreal? You should go to a good city like Toronto. I hate this city, I hate the people here, the restaurants suck, I hate french people (hes saying this while there are people all around) If you want something to eat, just go to McDonalds, but seriously man montreal is a fuckin shitty place. (he kept going on and on while i was dying of laughter)

Me: (hahaha) so man do you know where it is?

Guy: Oh ya, its just about 3 blocks that way and one block down. seriously man, mcdonalds... fuck this city

Me: Thanks man, have a good one

Guy: Ya you too
 
i have been noticing a larger amount of crazy people in montreal lately. there was a guy in the metro the other day with no shoes on watching his dvd, just sitting there. and those people who listen to music dancing with their headphones...haven't yet decided if they're normal. but montreal is far from a craphole, thank you very much.
 
nah that guy was straight legit, one of the funniest people ive ever met.

and as for holt renfrew, its cool and all, i have some things from there but it really is a shithole. most people that shop there are stuck up assholes the clothes are nice most of the time but i'd rather get shit from urbanoutfitters for a 1/4 of the price and not look like such a douchebag.

yea dont shop there its gay, the employees dont care about you because they get commission. she was even telling me that she doesnt even have to try and sell shit, she can actually stand around all day and easily make 100$ extra on her base salary because people are always buying shit. that store has tainted her, she cares way too much about materialistic bullshit. I told her to move to whistler because montreal is ruining her.
 
my friend was telling me they have to keep their customers and have to sell like 3000$ a month and have to call their customers for promotions and etc?
