Crazy bitch says she "will press charges"

Last weekend there was a party at my house, and this drunk girl was in a bedroom that was off limits so my roommate said that she needed to get out of the room, it was his room. Well she was drunk and stubborn and didn't leave the room after being asked many times so my roommate started to yell at her to leave the room. This was after he asked nicely. She then gets bitchy and goes crazy and starts yelling at my friend and this other girl who I know. My friend says, "Look there is a party out there, not in my room. I need you to just leave my room." and he had to push her out of the room and close the door. It wasn't forcefully it was just to get her to leave because she wasn't leaving after 15 minutes of her yelling and bitching and multiple people talking to her and telling her to leave.

This crazy girl then tries to fight this girl I know, shoves her down and starts getting violent and then we all kicked her out of the party. Of course she decides to call the police and say she was assaulted from being pushed out of the party. She was trying to fight people. The police come and almost give us a ticket, but her being drunk just leaves so the police had no one to talk to.

Today my friend sees this girl and tells her that she shouldn't call the police like she did, just because of the hassles it causes us. Especially with our medical marijuana program. Although we are following state laws I'd just rather not deal with the police.

Can she actually press charges? this bitch is fucking insane. I have no clue why my roommate even talked to her.
 
and after my friend talked to her to day, she said she is for sure pressing charges. Like what? She's the one that was pushing people to the ground and trying to fight them.
 
Judge asks her "what happened?" She replies, "I was drunk and they made me leave the party". End of case.

You are fine.

The police came and they said they were called on because one of the home owners pushed someone. But I'm assuming they realized this girl was drunk as fuck and made no sense? Because the police just told us to shut everything down and we did.

Really nothing violent happened at all. She should have been the one getting the police called on if anything.

 
No police report, no chargesPlus multiple people witnessed what happened, so even if there was a chance, it still wouldnt go anywhere
 
haha, yeah I know there are no grounds for her. The thing is she is so set on "pressing charges" or what ever I think she's going to actually try, she's fucking CRAZY. Could my roommate be actually taken to court though? This shit would make the judge laugh, its so ridiculous.
 
Ok ok ok lets not get ahead of our selves. We are talking about 2 different types of charges.

Criminal charges which are brought forward by the police and district attorney.

Civil charges, which is someone suing someone or some company for money.

Yes you can sue anyone for anything. Whether or not it holds up in court is another story.

OP you have nothing to worry about. The cops were already there, they decided not to arrest anyone or pursue any charges. When you get arrested for something you are charged with that offence.

Dui, assault, theft, ect.....

But since no one got arrested, she is going to have a very very hard time trying to convince the police and District attorney to press charges. Especially if she wasn't hurt.

Tell her to take a hike.

 
Technically, from what I'm reading she could have an assault complaint granted I doubt any prosecutor would touch it.
 
Idk about you US of A dudes, but here in Canada the law says if you want some crazy bitch out of your house you can do whatever you feel necessary to get that crazy bitch outa your house.
 
Obviously you don't know what technically means.. Cause technically she can't (if what he is saying is correct). Other measures were taken, they did not work, then neccessary force was used.
 
Also, bring anyone and everyone from the party into a courtroom and they will testify against her. She has no one on her side

Don't worry, I'm well versed in technicalities...she didn't break in, she was apparently a welcome guest at one point. since she refused to leave the police should have been contacted to remove her

But as I mentioned, most people have common sense and that will never go anywhere
 
I would say theres no chance, especially if she wasn't injured. She was drunk, you have multiple witnesses, including cops. If she tries anything it will likely backfire and turn out worse for her
