She's raising awarness of the issue of non drinkable water. Wich is the first cause of death in the world.

So she says stuff like water is incolor, has no odor or taste but it can kill nonetheless.

It's an ad for keeping water clean. She lists the physical qualities of water, then when she is dropping ink into the skull, she gives a statistic for the amount of people without potable water and the amount that die because they don't have it. I don't know enough French to translate her exact words. It's a very effective ad, because we don't notice the drawing when it is just water, it is stable and just there, like taking water for granted, but as soon as the ink is dropped into it the water instantly changes a huge amount and we suddenly can't ignore it, as those who don't have access to clean water can't take it for granted.

i know, they didnt have any black so i got mr.black ink and i did this on a canvas. but i just did line lines and circle. im gonna try to make a tree or something. its actually kinda hard cause the water likes to join together. it doesnt want to stay in a long line.

the birds were so sick! i have a feeling like itd be hard to get the water into such cool shapes without ruining it

I tried to make my own inks for this an so far no luck. Pen ink and water the pen ink is way to thick and doesnt mix with the water it will just end up runing your brush. Charcoal dust and water the charcoal did not mix it just sits on top and i got ok results with that it works the same but not consitent covereage at all.

to get in from pens, take them out of the pen so its just like the plastic tube, toss like 20 of them in a water bottle. put paint thinner in there and let them sit for 2 hours and shake em like every 20 min. and its kinda hard, cause if you lean what ever your doin it on upright, it will run off. so i dont know.

i did it on a canvas. and so the puddles of water will not dry on it, so if you put it up on its side the water will run off.
