Cranmore Park Updates

Yes there are jumps. 3 parks open.

The dfd stairset is pretty gnar.

If you ski there say hi to the one arm ticket checker aka me. Usually at the express quad

nothing too big. i dont think theres anything over 35. Honestly havent gone up though. I'll ask and post when I hear though.

Big wallride is getting put in tonight at the base of the jumpline.

park is real fun i was there wed. night and thursday slushy laps. dfd stairset is pretty gnar, greased the rail once then fell onto the stairs next try haha it hurt.

and abortionator, were you the lifty at the quad with long hair and you were wearing goggles all day?

Yeah man, the dfd stairset is very gnar. Not many people even hit it.

And yeah that was def me. I'll pretty much be working that lift until I'm able to get back in the park which I might not even be able to do till cranarchy.

Next time say hello.

haha i thought about it but it would be really awkward if i asked hey are you the abortionator and it was someone else haha

You weren't there yesterday wearing sunglasses over at the quad were you?
Darkside is nice, the two jumps were good, and the wall was pretty sweet. So many kids skiing with snowblades.

was there sunday, the rope tow park was fun but the darkside just seemed awkwardly set up, like everything had too much speed. there was some good pow though so most of the day was spent outside the park. some sick runs through the woods off skiers left of ledges and you end up above the south quad

i think they are having their biggest park under the south quad like the other side and up above that and the darkside is gonna be a boarder cross and the rope tow will still be a beginner park

Yea the jumps will be above otherside, then a large rail park in otherside. Then in dark side there will be a skier/boarder cross course with another 3 line rail park at the end. Row tow park will probably downsize from what it is now and be more like last year.

I used to come here when I was younger, before I got into park. I will surely make a venture out sooner or later.

Was up there today, goofy kid with the bloom jacket and blue ldc pants, with a stress fractured vertebrae. Setup in the medium(?) park looked nice, but rarely ventured into it. I assume they are going to put jumps closer to the top and keep/put in more rails at the bottom?

Last time I went to cranmore was like 2 years ago and I went nightskiing like every week. So much fun, they didnt have it last year though.. Is it back for this year?

Thinking about going this weekend anyone think they could hook it up with discounted tickets for 2-3 kids?

Also, call me lazy, but it wouldn't be awesome if they put in a rope tow, on Skiers Left in the Alley, probably from the end of the trees, to almost where the fencing at the beginning is. Are they going to have jumps in there at all, or just the boardercross course?

I saw that they put some stuff in The Reel, and switched around some stuff in the Lower Alley, anyone know exactly what they did in there? Did I see the longer flat box from Matinee in there?

Update Today:

Says that they made a 35 foot jump in Director's Cut, and did some shaping up in the Alley, also put a 10 foot jump in there, and they hope to get some more features in the Director's Cut.

Should be fun, hope with the recent snow they put the Down Flat, and couple of other boxes that were off to the side, and reshape some of the lips/landings and features in the Alley. I'm kind of starting to think that this boardercross is a waste of space lol. Would be nice to maybe have a two wide two deep jump line up top 15-25 Feet.

If anyone heads up this weekend, lemme know how it is, I may go tomorrow, depending on driving conditions.
