anybody else see this movie? it was so ridiculously crazy. not a single slow part in the whole movie. definitely go see if you havent.

went and bought it (the first one) for 5 bucks and everyone i knew was just like "that movie is such a piece of shit"... its probably one of my most watched movies out of the like 100 that i own...
 
Both Crank movies are cult-classic like movies.

You either get it...or you don't.

I think that people find its realism to be hard to believe. But thats exactly how movies are today, how fucking realistic is anything in any movie that TRIES to portray a realistic character / plot.

Here you get a sick twisted plot with obvious hurdles....our man Jason Statham, or Chev Chelios in this case....goes above and beyond to get over these hurdles.
 
crank 1 was fuckin ill, i can't wait to see high voltage.

people wanna talk about how fake shit is, but there are more real stunts in crank than there are in bond. for the first movie, they couldn't afford to animate that helicopter scene, so they did it for real. it doesn't get any more badass than that. you want a plot line, go watch a political thriller. you want to laugh your ass off and get your adrenaline pumping, you watch an action movie.

think twice about doing that,” confessed Statham. But Statham’s quick

to add that he never wanted it to be done using CGI. “Firstly, we

didn't have the luxury of millions and millions of dollars to shoot a

worthy green screen sequence, and I have never thought it would look

good shot that way anyway. …You can always tell that it is a fake

attempt.

The enthusiasm that Mark [Neveldine] and Brian [Taylor] had…and Mark

would sort of be up there and Jose [Pablo Cantillo] the other actor and

we had a great stunt coordinator,

and I just thought we were going to get something really, really, good. We

had already shot like three or four weeks of great stuff and you just know that it

felt right to do that. We just thought, ‘We are going to shoot everything

through the camera and we are going to do something that most movie makers

don't do.”
 
haha i took all my friend's movies and put them on my hard drive and i slowly watched them over the course of like a year and i didn't even want to watch crank but i figured what the hell and it was so fucking intense haha. i mean one of the most ridiculous movies ever but nonetheless awesomei wanna see crank 2i just saw transporter 3 also and it was brutal, the first one was amazing but the next 2 sucked

first one was on tv the other day, i had never heard of it before, definartly a fucked up movie but still good haha
 
hahaha dude at one point i turned to my friend and i was like dude this is one of those movies youre really glad youre not watching with your parents haha. thatd be so brutal. there were at least like 5 times where i thought, my dad would walk out of the theater right now if he were here
 
I thought crank 1 was pretty good and very entertaining, but crank 2 looks like shit to me, and people have said so as well.
 
thats what everyone said about the first crank as well though.... that it was shit until it became a steal on DVD.
 
hahaha no. thats actually one of the more random parts of the movie. he sees some skateboarders hitting up a rail and he slides the first one to/while running away from the bad guys. then on the second one he just nuts himself so bad, and is like FUCK then just keeps going. so random
 
crank 2 is corny and weird. To me it was poorly made and looked like they had a cheap budget. I was very disappointedand I would not recommend it to anyone.
 
Your a fucking elitist snob then. Crank 1 and Crank 2 is like Shoot 'Em Up. Just watch the fucking movie and have a good time. Not every movie has to have some deep message to convey.
 
Honestly both those movies were shit. Didn't even watch the whole thing of either. The fact that peple thought they were awesome is pretty sad.
