Wow. First off, you can't use ebay to secure a transaction, second, it's advertised on craigslist, third, they can't spell, and fourth, they're obviously scamming.
It seems like a pretty common name and email address. Which is actually a good thing, i know my parents used their last name in their comcast address too.
Definitely ask to see it in person, and best things come to best, you hand them a money order (better than checks, means the money has already cleared by the bank)
why would they go into detail to explain the low price if it wasnt a scam?
if they are really experiencing such tough times, then they would just mention "personal reasons" or whatever, but you dont mention the tragic death of your 12 yr old daughter to some stranger in your first email-convo.
i got a similar story when looking at a supra about the death of a son. i asked for the vehicle insurance number or when i could come see it and they never emailed me back. definately a scam man
