i have some high end ( or used to be ha) rossi ski boots, not sure what model but there like 3 years old and are the good ol 4 buckle design. on the side of one of the boots the plastic molding cracked bout 6-7 inches horizontally on the inside of the boot , part where it faces inside , not the side every one can see. but regardless would epozy with a ghetto clamp set up get me buy another season ? boots just sooo damn spendy . thanks for any feedback.

You can't fix a cracked boot. It will continue to crack.

You can slow the damage down by drilling a small hole at the base of the crack. That will sometimes stop the crack from spreading.

Boots are plastic, and can suffer from fatigue and crack after time.

word up felllas , thanks for the response , i better head to the gas station and start buying scratch offs and power-ball tickets . ha , but ya in all honesty i knew i was fucked when i saw how long it was, but again thanks for the replies appreciate it, have a good winter everyone. .

Try buying some used boots at a Swap or off here on NS. There are plenty of cheap boots out there that will work fine for a while.

Good Luck!

No its not... boots are not like skis that should last a long time. I would find a.shop that sells alot of Rossi, talk to the shop manager and see what they think about returning them. Usually if the guy in the shop, big rossi buyer, agrees something went wrong with the boot, they can talk the manufacturer into a warranty they may not usually honor.

its doubtfull. boots still come with a 1 year warrenty. the liners only last 100-150 days so maybe 2 seasons of use and shells will not last much more. if it was a month or 2 old it would certainly be replaced but not when its that old.
