I was skiing on my recently bought faction 2.0 skis, I went over what I though was a jump and caught my ski om the tree under snow.…it cracked my ski through the top layer but from what I can see didn't effect the metal or the base...it is after the camber so it wouldn't touch the snow unless it is massive powder. Will this effect the ski too much? I check for strength and it seemed to be close the the same for flex resistance

Your ski may flex properly now, but it won't for very long. You can also try to seal it with something, but again this will be temporary because it will separate as soon as you flex the ski.
If your ski is legitimately cracked, then it's only a matter of time before it fully breaks on you.

Yup you borked your ski. If you are still down to ride em then go for it. I have a couple of skis that are pretty messed up that I still ride on. If it works for you then they should be alright. The only thing I’d worry about is carving too hard or just the longevity of your skis.

Go to your local dealer and speak to them. Faction might hook you up with some skis at cost. They are pretty chill.
