Cracked edge?

so pretty much i was waxing my skis and noticed the inside edge of one of my skis is cracked right under the foot, it isnt huge, but i ski alot of rails and boxes, i don't know a huge amount about skis and was just wondering how long you think these have left before they rip out completely, assuming i ski about 2 hours a week on dryslope(destroys bases of skis)

here are some pictures of broken edge.

so what are your thoughts?

could last a few months, could last one more run. Ive had edge cracks worse than that, that stayed in forever somehow. If you notice the spot where it is pealing out getting bigger, cut the edge out. That way you wont end up loosing as much edge.

Depends on the ski. I had suspects that a foot under each foot blew out in a month but I had 4frnts that had edge cracks and you couldn't even tell and they were fine. Like that guy said if it starts spreading you can cut a chunk out and it won't be that noticeable in park. they'll be fine though don't worry about it you won't even notice it skiing, prolly want some new sticks next year though

unfortunatly its gonna happen no matter what skis your riding. my AR7s from last season are just destroyed now. it sucks they only have about 50 days on them and they're toast

Im really surprised you had 4frnts that had edge cracks that didnt rip out. If I remember correctly they have the shitty continuous edge (without teeth), similar to my amplids, and as soon as they got cracked you have to say good bye to all of your edge. On my amplids the edge started ripping out without edge cracks on the one ski.

I'd epoxy the hell out of it then hammer it back in and clamp it overnight. Might last a little while.

I was too. Stl's were pretty deisel but I had to retire them because they had like 2 1/2 mounts and they ended up snapping on a jump. Edges were butter though. OP Try filing them down a bit underfoot if you ride park a lot and don't already. Believe it or not it will save your edges because they will slide better instead of grabbing rails quite so much.

this...to me it looks like dirt is in side it.. i would try to clean it out and possible hammer the edge back in a little. might help
