CR Labs Edge Split

Hey I am quite disapointed I for some reason decided to hit rails with my CR labs but after hitting rails with them for less than a week the edges split on one ski. I do not know if I have a warrenty as I bought them off Level 1 Productions on ebay. Does any know have some advice.

P.S. I dont know how to put pics in a thread but i have pics showing the split.

I really need some advice on what to do...

^ there must be a way I can say its like a manufacture problem as I have only rode these skis 5 times...

Thats the risk involved with rails. Warranty is for MANUFACTURER defects. Pouncing on a piece of metal with your edge is YOUR fault, not the ski manufacturers.

But can't i just sharpen my edges and lie and saw I never hit the park with them. And I was skiing and the edge split?

Yeah lie, do not tell them you ski anything but groomed packed powder. It is amazing to me that ski companies market twin tips for park and rails, but then tell you to get bent if their ski falls apart because you are using it that way.

 
i've been skiing mine on rails hardcore since i've had them, all i gotta say is check the rails before you slide them, make sure the rails are all ground down nicely

the CR's are possibly the worst ski for doing rails. stiffer then the normal 1080 plus you're gonna fuck up the racing base. it's alot more fragile then a normal base.

i had 1080's last season, and they delamed. that was a 'manufacturer defaul' and when i sent them in, they sent me new ones. they were good for me, on the warrenty, but that wasnt from a rail. most companies are crap for warrenties when rails get involved.

 
ok thanks guys I am gonna contact Salomon my dad knows a guy who is the president of Salomon or something like that so I may have some inside connections. Hope I can get em fixed. :)

So the lesson you learn is: IF YOU HAVE CR PRO MODELS DONT HIT RAILS WITH THEM!!!trust me....

why did u get those skis in the first place, they're damned expensive and they;re made by salomon to race

that's not true man, the edges are fine. did you de-tune your edges before your starting sliding rails with them? i did, and my cr's are holding up very well, alot better then my trouble makers did..

Killer Monkey the reason I got them was because I got them for $400. So I dont know who wouldnt buy them if some one was in need of a new pair of skis.
