Anyone still play that game. Sounds like the only good shooter left. I loved Socom 3 with the small maps and the convoy ones were really fun. Cod 4 was sick but now every time I go on everyone's just warping out of the map and shit so lame. Only shooter I've played on the comp is the first far cry. Anywaays I see its only 10bucks on stream but don't feel like buying it if I won't be able to find a game.
 
that was such a fun game haha gta4 had sick graphics but san andreas you could do so much shit one of the best games ever.

For multiplayer shooters though I like fast paced action and realistic. I find battlefield to be way to slow for me and the new cods are way to much like halo haha. just played some cod 4 actually managed to find some good search and destroy games. still every other game somebuddys under the map shooting you through the ground or warping to random places but the ones that work are still super fun.
 
Counter-Strike is still one of the largest shooters in existence.

I play both Source, and 1.6, but 1.6 is dying out, and people are preparing for Counter-Strike Global Offense.

Ive been playing since 1.4, and have way too much time in the game.

If you'd like, message me, and Ill give you my clans server. It's always almost full, except for around 4-9am...

Also, it's one of the top servers out there, with fun admins, no lame ass rules such as no racism or swearing, and you can literally yell whatever you like, and berate people, it'll simply make the admins laugh.
 
Thats sick man thanks. I'll probably buy it in the next couple of days to kill time after work and what not. You use a controler or the mouse. I'm really used to a controler just because of the triggers but i'll probably just use a mouse to avoid having to buy something for my computer to read the controler
 
well the usb Xbox controllers plug right on, but you need to understand that CSS is a hardcore shooter. Far harder than any youve ever played.

For example, Ak-47 shot to your head is 1 shot head shot.

Everyone uses a mouse and keyboard, shit trumps controllers every day of the year.
 
Ok cool well it'll just take some time to get the hang of it. I like realistic, hardcore in cod 4 is pretty much 1 shot to the head your dead and like 2 tiny bursts with any gun to kill you anywhere else. Socom was pretty realistic, little more health then I would have liked but no recharg so if you get hit in the body and then hide and pop out and get hit again your dead for sure.
 
Used to play 1.6 all the time back when I was 14 and had a pc. That and a few city-simulators are the only computergames I really played.

ahhhh surfing. i played 1.6 back in highschool. aim maps, surfing, pissing the absolute shit out of people, so much fun.

anyone ever play the halflife mod the specialists? most ridiculous game ever haha counterstrike+the matrix
 
Did anyone ever used to play R6: Rogue Spear? That was my game back in the day played tons of competitive ladder on it.
 
u use to play 1.6 but everyone hacks on it. I play a game called uberstrike, it is free from iTunes but it sucks
 
I got CS:GO the other week and was pretty proud of this for only playing it for a few days
