The areas around here usually open up around thanksgiving, so about a month and a half, or a little more, until opening day. There's usually a couple of jumps just handbuilt, then the park comes pretty soon sometime in december.
rumor is killington opens next week on the 11th. I do't knbow if it's true. What I do know is that it opened oct 29 last year, and they started making snow earlier this year, so it may open arund the 11th oct. I would be PUMPED if it did.

one year we had a blizzard here in minnesota on halloween, and we got 3 feet of snow from it. Some places around here will open up when we have our first cold spell in november, which is about 30 to 40 days away. so close, so close
'She asks me, 'What's a punk?' so I kicked over a trash can and said, 'That's punk' She kicks over a trash can and asked me, 'Is THAT punk?' I said, 'No That's not punk, thats trendy'
yeah for the midwest it just depends on when it gets cold. brule is going to try to opne nov 9 which is cool my hill (sunburst) opens early too if it gets cold enough. The owner guy emailed me and he said they were going to make snow and open the first time it got cold enough. it only takes themn 2 days to make enough snow since they have to cover such a small space
Hmmmm...if we get the snow we are supposed to later this week and maybe one other fairly significant storm I'm thinking 2, maybe 2 1/2 weeks from today is a good guess.
