Could the glidecam xr-1000 work for these cameras

Hahaha yeah seriously, good luck with that one...

OP: Glidecams (and handheld steadicams in general) are easiest to use with shorter focal lengths. I generally shoot between 18 and 35mm, sometimes pushing it to 50 on a 1.6 crop sensor.
 
theyre saying the 100-300 lens will be too large and/or heavy for a glidecam to balance and function properly

it's just more that glidecams aren't magic. you can get some decent shots at like 100 (zac's done some great glidecam tele work), but i don't see anybody being able to get shots past like 120, and even then that's gonna be extremely difficult. all those little glidecam movements that aren't noticeable at wide focal lengths will become SO apparent with a tele lens.
