I can do 900 grabs, 1080's, landed 3 1260's and am working on my 1440's. I just learned how to grind (don't make fun) but i can do a rale slide 180 off on a flat rail. I am currently making a video which has some good stuff of me doing some big airs. I use to skibord up until 3 months ago so i am just learning. I am only 15 though. Any imput?

ya know it doesent matter, you could get some sponsership maybe but your only 15 so just get better and go for it when your sure you deserve it.

 
well, im 4 years old and i can spin unnatural 1564 with a reverse backward TOXIC grab. im not sponsered yet...

from what i've heard in threads like this before, talk to your local ski shop about sponsership, and talk to the local reps around your mountain. get to know them and let them get to know you. they want someone who people will see and want to buy their product.

 
well thats because if u spun a 1564 ud land sideways and fall dumbass, but about the other guy, u could spin a 2340 and if u dont have ne style and ur only trick is spinning like crazy, ur gonna get jack shit

ok let me give you the skinny.. first of all its style over huck anytime of the week and twice on sundays.. style style style..it doesnt matter if you can spin 10's work on switch shit instead of 1440' or 12's b/c thats justa huck.. companies look for people that can sell their product and self promote.. they would rather have the good skier thats a self promoter rather than the sick skier that could careless.. so you need to show companies that you go different events.. they wanna see thaat your doin comps and your placing well (top 10).. they want their product out there so they get more publicity.. and remember the days of spin to win are over.. its all about style now.. so get back to us when ya do got some

can you grab the 10's or the 12's?? If not there is no point in learning a goofy penciled out 14. Make sure when you progree, that you make sure you keep up with your style and just don't huck everything

 
sounds to me like ure concentrated WAY too much on spinning. I know that dynastar is gonna be getn a LOT of applications for sponsorship, salomon and line would be some of the easier to get sponsored by, and line wont take a guy in that can do 1260's, but cant grind.

He just wrote a paper of stuff he can do and that was about all it took.

BFD, it's just a huck, you have to have style. If you can't grind, don't even bother, you could be good someday, but if you wanted to be sponsered, you should be able to cork and have style, you should also win contests and stuff.

there is one pro who can only spin a five, but you tell him to do it dirty, or any variation, he can. spinning is not everything, style is.

 
ugh... sounds like the worst style ever. Dont try a 1440 until u can do a 1260 PERFECT wit ha grab and smooth. On 2nd thought, dont ever even try a 1440. I cant imagine anything being uglier.

1440's aren't that hard, u just need a good kicker. Plus anything over a 1080 is almost impossible to have style on. Plus you don't spin to get sponsorship, u invert. learn some inverts, like mistys and zero-spins. Then You do a cork 14 in comp and get sponsorship if u've got the entire bag of tricks.

Doing a 1260 is ok but you probly dont do it with any style (style is everything) and sponcers like flips and off axis spins. Work on corkeds and flip and stop trying to do big spins, a 1440 with no style = corked 7 or nice 7 grab.
