So hanging out with some friends and one of them i didnt know that well, well anyways we decided to go to someones house so he said he would drive us (the guy i dont know to well). so we are driving and get pulled over for suspicious activity. the cop comes up to the car with a gun out and he makes us get out he calss back up and we are all nahdcuffed on the side of the rode wayyy shitty by the way. So the cop found 2 unregistered guns 1600 pills pound of mushies and 2 punds of weed in the trunk. me and my friends had no idea about this and he said they were ours to the cop so right now it says i was in possesion of a forearm and a pound of mushies, so anyways it sucks hope they can prove that i had no idea but im not sure way pissed and super bummed though.
 
im gonna call bullshit. youll get off cause you had nothing to do with the kid. kids is fucked though. a 2 pack and 1600 pills? come on. for real, bullshit
 
get a lawyer. it was his car. you'll prolly have an easy arguement. make him pay your lawyer fees. try to talk to the DA first.

i no a guy who got caught with like 1000 speed pills and got something like 36 months of jail. or weeks, i dunno my friend told me and details were sketchy but that sucks balls.
 
if only you actually read the post, i didnt know the kid i didnt like him anyways, and i was detained for 24 hours after it happened than had to got back today to talk to them.

i'm calling bull. if your a cop and you pull someone over and find a bunch of shit in the trunk of a vehicle registered to the driver your going to assume that shit belongs to the driver. just because he says its not his dont mean shit, the cops not going to be like, oh, its a bunch of illegal shit in your trunk but its not yours? oh alright, i guess it must be these kids, lets book em'!
 
you have to remember, we were still in the car with all of that stuff so of course they are going to take us in anyways whether he would have said they were his or ours it wouldnt have mattered.
 
You arent going to get pulled over for "suspicious activity" you are obviously retarded. You have to be doing SOMETHING wrong for the cop to pull you over in the first place. Its called reasonable cause.

Oh and btw.... study harder in school and get a lawyer. The charges wont stick if you have a lawyer. Sounds like you arent giving the whole story though. Why did teh cop search the car in the first place? Lookign suspicious isnt reasonable cause. somebody either had to give them permission or something illicit was within view. Unless the car was getting towed for some reason (like the driver having a suspended license, etc), then they can do an "inventory check"

well apparently, this guy driving has had a warrant out for his arrest, but anyways his neighbors called him in apparently because they saw him with smoking a j in his car with us hich we were doing by the way as we started to leave. but i think i will be fine after talking to the cops tonight they said i might not even have to go to court cause i guess the guy is giving out alot of other info. still really confused on the whole matter though.
 
Not neccesarily, if its wrapped well the cop wont be able to smell it. I had a pound of headies in my trunk while talking to a cop right next to my car and I left with not a single ticket or question. Car didn't smell at all. It was in a vacuum sealed bag, wrapped in like 4 palstic bags, then really thick plastic taped all up, antoher plastic grocery bag and then in a duffel bag surrounded by clothes, in the trunk.

Once that vacumm bag was opened though, it stank like heaven.
 
yeah when i get pulled over the cop always comes out with guns out and call for back up, and 1600 pills really thats like what over 300,000$ where the fuck did he put it where you didn't see it
 
i dont understand how you said that he pulled you over for suspicios activity and came to your window with a gun...they can only pull that shit out if its a felony and for a good reason lol
 
cops cant just walk up and pull there gun out for no reason. that kid had either been wanted for something or you guys must have been doing something stupid to get pulled over in the first place
 
you are about to get shafted, i was in a similar positionwent to jail for a weekend then house arrest for a month....then they dropped all the charges out of no where after a month of being proven innocent by all the suspects and kids that got arrested with mei didnt even go to court, so if you feel like your getting abused go against the police officers and try to get some money out of em if they make you hire a lawyer

Cops will openly search cars for no reason other than you look nervous. I know this because I had it done to me, and I saw it done to my friends.

Quick tips for dealing with getting pulled over:

- Answer his questions with questions. This way you never actually make a statement about anything, merely inquire. ie. Cop: "Do you know how fast you were going?" You: "How fast was I going?"

- Any shit he tells you about getting arrested is not true, because he has nothing on you unless you let him search the car. And that's the point, on you can let him search the car unless he sees drugs openly on the seat or something.

- Keep your window open just a crack so that he can't look in your car.

- Nobody else in the car should give their names.

trust me, that should not be the main reason you dont answer this question. when an officer says anything you say can and will be used against you, he means it to the fullest extent. if you openly admit to the crime, well, you just made things a lot harder for yourself
 
Yeah, thats kinda what I meant, you ask questions so you never make a statement. Cops will use anything they can against you, so keep it short and sweet.

Also, another good tip is when they tell you to get out of the vehicle, turn the car off, take the key out, close the windows, get out and lock the door. Makes it harder for them to say they spotted something in plain view and start searching your car for no reason.
