Corrupt CF card?

hey guys i have a 16gb 700x delkin cf card i was using in my nikon d700. anyway i think i pulled it out of my computer without ejecting it properly and when i put it in my camera it just says insert new card this card is damaged. tried formatting it and didn't do anything. anyone have any help to offer??thanks guys

did you try to format it in camera, or on the computer?

both. i just tried another card as well and its doing the same thing. it must be a camera issue

hmm. looks like i figured it out. i somehow lost one of the brass connection pins in my camera. hope this won't be an expensive fix :/
