Corks = flips

I got into a bad habit. I had all my corks down perfectly until recently. Now I am inverting my corks and they all turn into misty's. Ive gone back to the basics from when I was first learning them but my corks are still turning into inverts. Cork 9s still seem decently fine, but cork 7s are completely inverted and mistyish. I need a quick fix. Any suggestions?

try making sure you get at least a 180 into your spin before you start corking it out. I had the exact same problem last year and fixed it by making sure I had a very solid wide legged pop and carving more into the takeoff. I didn't have to even try to cork all that much to get cork 7s, and cork 9s came a lot easier after that.

I think you mean your cork 7's are turning into d-spins. Misty's you throw forward.. corks and d-spins you throw back. Sounds to me like you should try throwing you shoulder to the side instead of straight back. The more straight back i throw my cork the more upside down i seem to get.hope that helps
