Corked 180 same as hand drag?

i may be wrong but isn't a hand drag 180 essentially the same thing as a corked 180 just but you touch your hand to the snow?

if so, why do people go crazy over laurent favres corked 180 but like half of ns can do hand drags?

because in a hand drag, you drag yourself back on axis... if you miss the drag you land on your side.

k now try doing a hand drag without touching your hand on the snow, then landing on your feet. hard isn't it?
