So i got this pic of Andy Mahre doing this zero that is in war. This angle and sequence shows its true perspective which shows how off axis he gets. 

so what do you think, cork zero spin? i would give it to him.

P.S. i dont want any of those gay technical comments, or people that think they have the whole cork system worked out....this thread is for appreciation not faggots.
 
i just saw it and he brings up a great point bring on the corked zero its going to just as hot as the corked 180.
 
yea, that didnt work, and i know what youre talking about, and its more of a slightly flapped off axis backscrather zero, not a cork
 
in this picture its more or less the way he just got launched off the jump, he isnt corked, he is just leaning forward. think about it, you are goins sw to begin with you go to grab under your boot, gravity is goin to make you go a little forward.
 
a corked zero could be possible but you would have to spin 90 to the cork and 90 out of the cork, spining back the same way you stared, then maybe it would be possible.
 
could you say its not a cork but corked cause he is off axis in the way of corked spin (feet forward head back) if you get what im trying to say?

i wouldnt call it cork casue i consider cork a rotational thing but its def off axis and i hate when people argue who cares that shits cool and none of us can do taht over taht gap so just say its sick

For all of you who believe the cork zero to be possible - because theres some issue over the Andy Mahre one, could you please go out and do one? I'd really like to see you guys get 'corked' on a straight air.
 
From now on, every time a persons skis are not within +- 5 degrees from parallel to the adjacent slope, it is a cork.

It seems some of the same logic is being used to argue against this being "corked", as was used to argue that the 180, was in fact, "corked".
 
corking a zero could possibly be one of the dumbest things ive seen anyone try to justify. you cant cork if you dont spin at all.
 
AM is doing a zero spin skiing backwards. He didn't inatiate any kind of cork coming off the jump and even if HE himself thought it is/was "corked" he would agree that it's to dam sutle of a motion to even worry about or consider. Seriously think about the fact that you are considering some one corking a straight air! Personally I think a corked 180 is just as stupid too because it's too small of a body movement. It's almost like you have to throw the cork and then pull it back in order to straighten out and land. If somebody touches their finger on their ski to grab does is it still a grab.....no Does anybody agree?
 
Corked like hell. it is stylish, technical, ballsy and insane. stop deniying mahre. he just did what you cant do : corked 0. It is like Favre's corked 180 always people bitching"oh to be a cork you need to do a full 360 spin" that is bullshit corked 180 and corkd 0 do exit stop deniying the evidence.

just admit favre and mahre have the best syle.
 
The only way I see that you could do a Corcked Zero is that you would do a shifty like they do in motocross with your whole body. Otherwise you can't do it you need to throw something like a spin to be able to corck for real. and we all knew it would be doable to corck 180 zach Davidson showed it on a video on here a year ago or something like that on a roof jump to flat.
 
yeaaaa and stop to fly a 747 into my anus because ive reached new levels of stretching....... in addition, that is not a cork, as:

1. He does not spin

2. His upper body is not parallel to the ground, henceforth, it is a zero spin backscratcher, or kang

3. it is impossible to do cork tricks on skis, and no one has ever gone switch on skis for more than 10 feet, so i have no reason to believe any of this
