Cork 7 Support

Looking to get some tips on my cork 7's on tramp. I think my set is good but I keep spinning around and can't bring them to my feet. I attached some videos, one of them I almost get a 12 around. The misty is super prethrown in this example but I don't do that a lot. I have a feeling that most of the advice offered will be to practice the backbounce progressions which I have already started doing. https://imgur.com/a/zvKDBwD

You seem to be throwing for like a cork 12, throw over your shoulder and up more like your twisting/almost flipping over and gonna land on your stomach and then you rotate and pull your feet down

I called customer service at volkl for cork 7 support but all they did was send me a video link. I tried to make the skis do a cork 7 last winter but they dont really move much in the air unless you move them with your legs. Ill call back volkls customer service to see if theres something defective about the skis.

Interesting, so there are different sets for a cork 7 vs 12?

Glad to hear someone has had a similar experience. Tried with ON3P's didn't work, so I sold those and got some Armadas. Maybe I should have called ON3P for support before giving up on them. Don't they have some Magnus swerve feature you have to activate or something? Legs are overrated anyways...

Have you tried out the armadas yet? I hear they do cork 7s pretty well but i havent tried to cork 7 mine yet. There might be some activation code on the skis i need to punch in before they will work properly but i cant find any codes that got shipped with the skis and i dont even know where to punch the code in.

Yeah fot the 12 you get the first 3 around and youre not really that off axis then the next one is more off axis. For a 7 if feels like your first 3 is more off axis or equally off as the second 3

You need to set your shoulders pointing down more and pull your legs closer to your core. Once you get a good set and pull your legs in it your landing should come around pretty naturally.

I dont have a tramp anyone know if I should just go to tramp park learn cork 7 or just go for it on snow?

I tried it on tramp once, fucked up my knee hitting the metal frame. Gave up and just tried it on spring snow and it went much better (injury wise)

Hey guys, thanks for all the help! Got them down a couple weeks ago. Big ups to these guys, you were all spot on:

You’re dipping into the cork too late and putting too much emphasis on the spin aspect.

You arent setting it right. Think flippier and launch your hips and legs up.

Here is a video that also helped a lot:
, if anyone comes across this thread looking for help, watch this video! Watched it once and got a proper cork 7 first T.

I've cleaned them up since but this was a video from the day I got em: https://imgur.com/a/M577bs6

Congrats OP. Props for actually following through with result vids on an advice thread. Doesn’t happen enough.

it seems like your set is a bit more of spin and drop shoulder at the same time if that makes any sense. when i set cork 7 i set my spin and then drop my shoulder not both at the same time. also on your tramp try a few cork 7 progressions where you cork 3 onto your back on the tramp and spin a 360 out of that.
