(Ignore my friend at the end)

That was weird. Your take off looked fine. Looks like lack of commitment. Let the rotation happen and dont try to focus too hard mid spin.

Set up looks fine, my opinion is that you should be more coiled up un the air maybe with a safety grab to be able to uncork. Trying on the trampoline would help big time.

The way you set of the cork was fine but right after that you straightened your body which caused the rotation to stop. Just grap a safety and don’t straghten you body, that worked for me. You’ll know when to let go of the safety and land by instinct.

yea the cat twist mid jump screwed you up.

the generic advice for inverts:

-start in a t-pose

-take off with both inside edges digging into the snow. keep you feet wide

-dont forget to pop/hop up. dont set backwards on the lip, this will put you backseat on the landing

-let yourself come up before tucking

-hold the tuck past the mid point of the jump

-after 5 release the tuck and watch for the landing

you already have the hardest part of a cork 7 down, the commitment.

you dont have to get fully corked on your first attempts.

start with a straight 7 + safety and work your way back on the set. cork or not cork is | or / on the set.

Dude I’m not evan joking my corks are stuck at the same spot as you, most my friends say I need to have more shin pressure of off the lip, then to grab so it helps you set the rotation. Hope that helps.
