Cork 7 Help

This is one of my better cork 7s into the airbag. I really want to take this to snow tomorrow as the airbag camp finishes tomorrow. Anyone got some tips on how i can bring it round to my feet or any other tips regarding the set.

from what i could see, idk if you want to bring that to snow tmw unless you are consistently stomping them into the air bag. my advice would be to revise you cork 7 technique on the tramp so you don’t try making these adjustments on skis. being for upright going into the jump. for learning cork 7s you want to start with no carve, bc if you think about it if you take off in a carve sideways, it’s hard to adjust yourself and land on your feet and not sideways as opposed to just taking off no carve upright and then the landing is much more similar on tramp. that jump also looks not very poppy for corks, so you will need to add for flip which should really help you get it around to your feet. try looking down later also at takeoff. right at takeoff you kind of look down to you left boot and dip your left shoulder, but you want to have your eyesight more up and slowly drop your shoulders so that your shoulders lead you into the cork and and not your head dropping. hope that helps. be careful, better to learn them the right way then get hurt learning them the wrong way. good luck bro

What do you mean "for flip"

I was doing them a bit more flippy but ended up fully upside down when landing and only getting to 5

i think your main problem is your takeoff, if you could just be more upright and think about looking behind you and down instead of to the side and down i feel you would start to get them. if when you add flip you can only get to 5 try adding less flip and work your way up, play with it and get a good balance of what feels right. just try to have s relaxed takeoff, your first 180 shouldn’t be very corked at all but your shoulders should eventually be dropped and eyesight down, just don’t bring your eyes down to early

Cheers bro will use this advice tomorrow

just tuck your knees up dude you got the spin now you need to get the flip around. youre penciling it all the way and not letting your feet get back under you

this too, right at 360 go from pencil to tuck or safety grab. it will bring you from cork to back around to your feet, just don’t tuck until the 360-450 range

I anyways use the transition of the lip and lean with it. So I'm sideways already at takeoff, and have entered cork by the first 180' into the spin, with plenty of time to rotate out. This is good technique for both cork 7's, cork 5 nose, and entry into dubs.

had you done it on the trampoline? if theres any near where u are fix the technice there

I like to picture it as if im taking my right hand and punching the tails of my left ski while exaggerating the spin. make sure most of the power comes from your core.
