tried a buch of cork 7's and they ended up being inverted as fuck aka D spin 7.... I then tried less flip and I landed on my side so I guess I'm having trouble finding the happy medium that is a cork... any pointers?
Yeah I would rather dspin than cork. You can lay your feet way out behind you (like a backflip) and whip your feet back under you and it looks super sick.
But try looking less down towards your heel piece and maybe more towards like the tails of your skis? That should help. And when you're turning your upper body in the beginning down throw down so hard, just lean into it more. Cork and Dspin are set really the same, just with the dspin your throwing yourself down and not leaning into it.
So just like OP, a few weeks ago I tried to learn a cork 7, but from what I can tell, I only got close to landing something more similar to a d-spin.. I have a video below with my progression and a couple of attempts, can someone give me some feedback on how I can turn that into a cork 7? Thanks and +K for useful answers
to not go as inverted, dont drop the shoulder so much and dont huck it as much. try to drop the shoulder once you get right off the lip instead of part of the takeoff and trick set.
if you d when you try to cork 7, your gonna have a ba....no, good time. yeah, youll have a good time. youre setting to much flip. set it easier. you can barely cork, or put your feet over your head, so start with just a little bit of off axy
idk they feel whipped and very arial-esque.... plus it's frustrating not being able to do the trick you set out to do even if you end up doing something else cool. I just wanna c sev!!!
