If you carved into the lip really hard, had a flat or uphill landing, and could recover from landing on your tips it could probably be done.

There was video here of a guy doing one over a shed. He spun 180 at the same angle of the lip and landed leaning way forwards with his hands on the ground. It wasn't that great.

 
Imagine the stye... floatin' a cork 180 over a huge jump with lots of lip. Would be very hard though i think. I too have done cork straight airs. Very accidental.

I accidentally threw one but I thought I was going to die. And a guy who rides in 'Dumont's Crew' told me on how he takes it easy at Sunday River. He mentions him throwing corked ones into a switch five so I'm going to have to guess it is true.

What exactly is some of your definition of corks. Is it where you tuck your head into your chest or get a little off axis? If so then yes it can be done. If it is where your head is below your waist at any point, then no it can't. It is not physically possible. Some of you may be good at skiing, but you're not that good. The only way it can be done is if you go off a massive jump, and I mean massive, where you can actually use wind resistance to right yourself. It's essentially the same thing as it being possible to do a frontflip-backflip. It has been done, however... after jumping out of a plane.

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.
 
what is everyone's obession with things being corked? I bet if you asked Laurent Favre if he has ever done a corked 180, he would say no. Same with Eddie Wall, and everyone else who has a mind. I'm not debating whether it's possible, but no one has ever done on IN MY OPINION. And I'm fairly confident that if you asked any pro in skiing or snowboarding, they would say the same.
