If it's too slow for you at first, let it cycle through once or twice and it will speed up to a somewhat bearable rate.

i was watchin skimatic and saw him carving thinking to myself 3 or 5 and then he busts out a cork 1......after that i think i busted ou t alil sum sum too :(

Yeah no shit, but every other thread turns into a huge debate because there's no fucking proof provided. Think before you post.

The problem with cork 1s is not whether or not they are possible, it is in the deffinition. Farves 1s do not prove or end these debates. They prove "off axis" ones are posssible. The problem is in how some people interpret the deffinition of a cork spin. Personaly i think its a cork 1, other people are always going to argue they are impossible by deffinition. Either way its the illest 1 I have ever seen.

I thought the definition of cork was that you had to be off-axis PAST 180 degrees meaning your head was below your skis. It is more of a Flattish 1 than a cork I agree.

he never arcs back like you would on a cork, since he is carving so hard he just starts back in the air, and then leans forward to land. with corks you rotate downward, and then come back up so its just off axis still freakin redic tho.

oh god...

NO by his definition a cork stright air is NOT possible, you must be spinning to go Corked or off Axis.

Corked and off axis straight airs are impossible by anyones' definition

No one fucking cares if you dont think it's corked, or you have a different definition of what corked is, because everyone already calls it corked, so give it up you're only fueling the stupidest debate i've ever witnessed.

It's just like the term "switch", you can't actually ski switch, you ski FAKIE, but everyone says switch and everyone knows switch means backwards. So nobody wastes their time debating that its actually fakie, I suggest you follow suit.

sooo dope.. has anyone seen tanner r. do a cork 180 in like.. shanghai extras or something rather? or has that been said many times before?

Hey man, I'm not fueling the "stupidest" debate, you are. I make my opinion and you debate it. I'm not the only one saying there is no such thing as corked 180s and it is not like the terms of skiing switch and fakie you dumb shit so stop trying to relate the issue to that. Oh and one more thing, people like you obviously care enough about what I think because you took time out of your way to respond to it. Actually one more thing; a straight air is possible by his definition because technically in a straight air, no one stays exactly straight. Haha if you want to get bitchy technical about everything, I'm game... no wait never mind. I spent enough time on this. Adios turd nugget.

^yea i understand what you are saying, i was trying to explain that a cork7 for exapmle does not have the head going below the skis. if that happened, it would be a d-spin7 or somethin else

No, thats not right. Thats by skateboarding terms. I cant put it into words really well, but skiing doesnt need to follow the terminology of skateboarding or any other sport. By the skateboarding definition of fakie and switch, it would be impossible to ski swich, but its an entire different sport, so therefore the tricks shouldnt be called the same.

Have your own oppinion. dont read an article in skeeze and think your the shit and attempt to shut people down.
