Corey Vanular in Long Story Short!

And damn, i was watching vanular's seg in shanghai six in not only is his opening shot with the 2 consecutive rails super sick, but he does a switch 7 in the pow! For an 04/05 movie, that's jaw-dropping!

I'm pretty stoked how this thread turned out, considering it's only my second thread. I'm liking all the positive vibes and comments and the fact that there's no hate at all! Thanks to everyone for all the sick input!

you really cant hate on all out good skiing like what Corey has thrown.

not to mention, josh berman and level 1 deserve more cred than anyone because they have made such sick films.

i cant name a single movie from them that wasnt all out insanely sick.

He does sicker flatspins onto rails then many people does on jumps, that's sick.

But I remember whene I watched his seg for the first time, I've never rewinded a segment as many times as this one, I just got so stooked of wathing it,and I still do. Props to Corey

Keystone never had flow or lines, ever. It was always just a matter of finding the jibs that were setup correctly and not all rutted out/set up shittily. I would say the well set up to shitty ratio was about 1:5.

dude, shut up, keystone did have flow before this year, this can be easily proven by just looking at the old park updates.

No, just because it had a couple rails in a row after the jump line doesn't mean that it had flow. Breck's flow is better year in and year out. This is because Keystone's park crew is lazy as shit and can't set up most things properly.

The park updates don't show you how shitty some stuff is set up. It doesn't matter what flow something potentially has if the features aren't set up well. I lived 5 minutes from there in 2007 and most of the time I would still drive the 15 minutes to Breck on my days off.

I don't get why some people have a boner for Keystone's park. The only thing it has on Breck's park is the vibe is usually better, less crowded, shorter laps, more variety of features, more wallrides (but most of theirs are set up so sketchily that it isn't worth it). Beyond that, Breck has them in every other category.

breck dominates the 4ft high rail category, haha. i really hate park lane though. the jump lines are both amazing, though freeways are a little better cause the steeper run makes speed more consistent, the medium line at keystone is way better than any of the jumps in park lane. i know you have a boner for breck, that's fine, lots of people do, though i think both have room for improvement (the potential of keystone could be huge if they maximized the space, didn't clump features, and used the half of the rails that they left sitting around in piles).

I didn't think Keystone's medium jump line was that great this year. Yea it is the best medium line they have ever had. It was pretty smooth and they had the speed right, but the lips just seemed a little too poppy for how small they were. If they made the trannies on the lips longer and less abrubt they would have been great. I think Park Lane's jumps were far smooth even if they were small.

Hell yeah! Definitely my favorite movie seg. So much style. I actually just watched that again the other week (while waiting for Turbo). The shifty 5, rodeo 9 with a mute to japan, no less! The steeziest switch landings... and on and on.

Can't wait to see C-Van storm back and kill it!!
