Everyday of ski season I:
as you walk across the parking lot to your local mom n pop hill, a 2007 Subaru Outback pulls into the staff parking lot. A rich potpourri of burning motor oil, coolant, and ganja smoke hangs heavy in the air.
YOOOO wass good homie? Yeah, this is my car. 200,000 miles. I love Subarus because they're so reliable. What's a head gasket? I was up late last night epoxying the tips and tails of my skis where the edges are coming out. You have vishnus too and they're doing the same thing? That's weird, must be some crazy coincidence.
Yeah, I'm on park crew here. It's a chill gig man. I rake the features in the morning and at the end of the day, and for the rest of the time I can just ski! I'll mostly be hiking the one good rail I put in this year. That one will be raked many, many times today. The rest of the features will be rutted up and icy by 10 am but it's not like the management here will complain lmao.
Anyways, these skis are sick dude. I love buttering. They're so soft you can't properly initiate a turn, but I never learned to do that anyway. I think they're sick for carving though. I'm hoping we get some snow in town this year so I can hit street. I've been eyeing a few handrails but realistically I'm going to get too baked to do that and I will end up seshing a park bench for 3 hours. I'm a real hardcore street skier. My homie is going to film it on my sony handycam and we are going to drop an edit on NS that will be 50% b-roll of us looking super zooted. Have you seen zootspace? I've decided to base my entire personality around that movie.
Well I'm late for work as usual and the 12 year olds are pissed I haven't opened the park yet. Let's link up for a burn later??
