I did this yesterday at blue skiing off a 3-4 ft drop on to some piece of wood or some shit. Ski ejected and I KNEW I did damage to it. Flipped it over and saw this (plus extra base that was sticking out, but I cut it off at the lodge)

Skis are in the shop to get fixed, thankfully the edge doesn't seem to be damaged.
 
Meh, I was working today at the shop and fixed something much worse than that. I'm sure it'll be fine. Sorry for the inconvienance though :/
 
ewww. that's nasty, but i've seen worse. my brother coreshotted his pipecleaners last year and it wasn't looking to hot. but, he took 'em to a legit shop, and they look almost as good as new now!
 
If you have a good shop your skis 'll be ok!

youre lucky you didnt damage your edge....
