I got a core shot today and I know that i could fix it myself, but I don't want to have to buy all the stuff. How much would it cost for a shop to fix this?

look in the other thread with the kid who has a core shot, he said it cost him $7.50 to get it fixed at his shop so thats not bad.

it is about the size of a quarter and it just made it to the core in the center

I just brought them to my local shop and they said that they are gonna fix the core shot and do a base tune for both of my skis for $40. Does this seem fair?
