Core Helmet Recommendations

My girlfriend brought up the fact that my pad-less Bern helmet that I wear over my goggles with whatever beanie I have handy probably wont protect my head the way it was intended to. I told her it makes me steezier and better at park stunts, but since Palisades Tahoe Alpine Meadows has NO PARK and Palisades Tahoe Olympic Valley only has a children park, I thought I may want upgrade the domepiece protector.

So NS, how do I stay core and get a new helmet?

The most core way would probably either buying one second hand on CL, fb marketplace etc., or going to the smallest independently owned ski shop in your hyper local area to see what they have on hand.

If the Bern fits you well you could probably just order an updated MIPS version on some website and have it delivered directly to your home or place of work?

Triple 8 with mips or protec with mips skate helmet is probably cheapest. Giro ledge is a decent bet also but skate helmets are super core

It's core to have a good helmet. Pretty much any recent helmet with mips should do the trick so pick one you like
