Copy protected dvd to ipod converter

what can i use to convert a copy protected dvd to mp4 (ipod) format? also, it would be great if it was free or had a free trial cause i only want to convert like 2 dvds
 
i think you should be looking for something to take the copy protection off first. most dvds are in aac right? you cant convert it if its protected.

try setting your dvd burner to "region free" sometimes that alone works and you can do whatever you please with the video.

if that doesnt work you can get a program called "dvd copy"

its pretty user friendly and if you wanted to make copies of it you can compress it to fit on one 4 gig dvd-r.

you may still need to set the region on the burner though.
